Since I can remember, the cup was the object of my desire:
stood high on a shelf in my parents' home, out of reach for small, yet interesting hands. Had only sentimental value of associated with war and turmoil - it was filled to the brim with butter hostess gift from the parish priest wandering somewhere on the trail of his grandparents, but I was charmed rose painted on it. Today cup stands on my shelf, has my eye and it is of interest :-) my children and love for porcelain roses and all the flowers in this climate is not passed. Recently I found a pair
